Brian James Spies returns to WXPI Community Radio with Art Here/Art Now, a monthly half-hour radio program showcasing what's happening in the Art World, HERE and NOW, locally, nationally and internationally.
This month's debut show has Brian discussing the proposed budget cuts to the National Endowment of The Arts, as well as covering the art work shown in the Whitney Biennial including a breakthrough work of Virtual Reality (VR) created by artist Jordan Wolfson and a controversial painting by artist Dana Schultz. Brian also discusses a variety of Arts Events that are going on and are coming up in our local community of Williamsport, PA.
